UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, Plaintiff-Appellee, v. BILLY ED KEMP, Defendant-Appellant. |
|
Appeal from the United States District Court
for the Western District of Tennessee at Jackson.
No. 05-10090—James D. Todd, District Judge.
Submitted: October 30, 2008
Decided and Filed: November 14, 2008
Before: MARTIN, DAUGHTREY, and KETHLEDGE, Circuit Judges.
KETHLEDGE, Circuit Judge. Defendant Billy Ed Kemp appeals his conviction for being a felon in possession of a firearm. He argues that the district court erred in admitting evidence of his prior convictions, and in failing to instruct the jury on his justification defense. We affirm.
